- Laparoscopy Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy (LAVH)

- Laparoscopic Ovarian Cyst Operation
In hysteroscopy the uterine cavity is distended with some media (fluid) and the entire endometrial surface can be seen and the operative interventions are done thereafter patient is generally discharged within 24hrs. of surgery.
In laparoscopy there are generally 1 to 4 ports i.e. holes for entry (one with 10mm and others generally 5mm). Through these carbon di-oxide gas is instilled in abdomen and the abdominal cavity is distended. Through the ports we introduce laparoscopic instruments that are needed to perform the operation. The patient can walk 7-8hrs. after surgery and generally go home next day.
Presently we are doing total laparoscopic hysterectomy maximum within 50minutes to 1hr. with excellent post operative lifestyle.
We do some surgeries at a very low cost for those who are really financially challenged.
